Hello everyone! My name is Selah Wilson and I am the owner of GingerSnips! I grew up in Kansas Illinois until my junior year of high school when I moved to Arcola Illinois. I graduated from Arcola High School and lived there for two years.
After high school, I attended Cosmetology school at Lakeland College. I spent one year working as a hairstylist and makeup artist at Serendipity Hair Salon in Mattoon. After that experience, God blessed me with the opportunity to open my own salon which we now know as GingerSnips!
I love the business aspect of my career, but I adore each and every one of my clients. I provide hair services, makeup services, and eyebrow waxing. One thing I want you to know about me is….I LOVE MY JOB.

Hey everyone, I'm Kara Coleman! I grew up in Paris, IL I was homeschooled my whole life! I studied a semester at Lakeland for business administration, got my spray tan certification at Norvell University, and am going to The Royal School of Cosmetology in January to become an esthetician! I love spending time with family and friends, hiking, baking and chilling at home with my husband and our two dogs. As of right now I will only be offering spray tans, but I will be adding more when I graduate from school, such as full body waxing, facials, and so much more!

Hi! My name is Alondra Tapia and im Tuscola, Illinois. I’m a licensed cosmetologist and graduated from Lake Land college in 2024. My favorite hobbies are pool days with my friends, hanging out with family and friends. I will be offering color services such as highlights and color. I will also be offering haircuts and eyebrow waxing. I hope to see you in my chair!

Hello!! I'm Skylar Moore from Casey, Illinois. I graduated from Lake Land College in 2024 and am now a licensed cosmetologist! I enjoy spending time with family, friends, my dog, and playing music. I will be offering various hair services like color, highlighting, styles, cuts, etc. I'm excited to work in this beautiful salon, doing what I love!
